Brokenhearted

The boyfriend that did not love you enough. The job that did not appreciate your hard work. The family that did not support you. The friends who turned their backs on you. The loved one who passed on to Glory who you miss dearly.

People like to say that time heals all wounds, but in truth, some wounds never heal. Some things are too hard to get over. How do we cope and move forward?

1. Seek God’s comfort – May your unfailing love be my comfort… Psalm 119:76

2. Mourn – Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4

3. After Mourning, Be Optimistic – Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8

4. Seek Support from People Who Love You – Therefore encourage one another and build each other up…I Thessalonians 5:11

The Ladies of Pumps and Gloss pray for your strength during trying times! The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18
