Hey Glossies,
Some may know that I was born in Jamaica, a member of the (British) Commonwealth of Nations. So I have always had a strong affinity for Great Britain, the culture and the Monarchy. This past weekend Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her Diamond Jubilee, her 60 year reign.
Over the weekend, I celebrated in my personal way by wearing pieces from British retailers, Boden and Dorothy Perkins.
The Boden Silk Spot Top is one of my favorites because it has polka dots, the colors are green and blue, the sleeves are long and is made from silk.
The court shoes in navy was one of my first Dorothy Perkins purchases. I was drawn to this shoe because it was navy blue. I was hoping the color would be more indigo than navy, but I am pleased with the color.
