Yellow – the color of sunshine, lemons, and two of my favorite nail polishes.

I have been obsessing* over yellow nail polish for the last few months.  I had been searching  All Lacquered Up and Clumps of Mascara blogs to see which colors were available. Finally, purchased China Glaze Solar Power and Bareille Shades in Lemondrops. Both, I tell you, are full of gorgeousness.  I did not get a chance to capture Solar Power on camera, but I will see that both are quite similar.  Solar Power has a hint of shimmer, while Bareille Shades is all creme.

I did notice that Lemondrops nail polish does get a tad bit darker, which I love, almost like wearing another color a week later. Plus the formula is thick and does not chip easily. Definitely worth the price.

Recently, I decided to try the Max Factor 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper Mascara, Black Velvet.  I had never used Max Factor mascara before, but I wanted to try it out.

I like this mascara lot.

The formula does not leave my lashes clumpy.  They looked quite plump and full after  two coats. I was pleased. Definitely worth the money. Sidebar: I am glad to see that you do not have spend $$$ to get lush lashes.  I definitely will re-purchase.

Early on my beauty experience, I only wore lipsticks and glosses. My favorite brand was Max Factor.  I loved the way the colors looked on my lips as well as how they felt when the color faded.  So, I decided to try the Max Factor Vivid Impact Lipstick in Rose Rage.

The application was smooth and even. The color is pigmented, so a little goes a long way. I love this shade because I believe any woman can wear this color and look tres fabulous.  Women of Color (WOC) have no fear, you will look gorgeous in this shade.

I love Lorac’s eye shadows.   I  had heard about the brand (about how wonderful it is), but I never bothered to check out the  products until  I saw the swatches on Raquel13 Shade Comparison Project.  After seeing the swatches, I purchased eye shadows from Beauty.com and I was quite pleased.  The shadows are soft and highly blended.  The color is sheer yet pigmented.
